A little to know about Pest Control

Dear Resident,

Summer is here and here in Georgia that means so are the bugs. To keep these pests away we have but together a list of tips for you. Along with doing your part we also offer weekly pest control services every Thursday so be sure to call by Wednesday.

TIPS

• To keep gnats away and out of your home you can pour ½ cup of bleach down all your drains around night time or when they will not be used for a couple of hours. Make sure you cover the drains once the bleach has been poured. In addition, you can pour a tray of ice down the garbage disposal with it running and that will sharpen and clean the blades.
• Make sure you do not leave any standing water in your apartment or outside the door. Check underneath all your sinks to make sure there are no small leaks that could leave standing water. If you do find a leak, please report it to the office immediately.
• If you find any dead bugs in your apartment, make sure to vacuum or flush them in the toilet immediately. DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY! Some bugs can still reproduce after they have died.
• Some bugs like and are attracted to human food so be sure to keep dishes out of your sink and wipe down the counter tops.
• Make sure all open containers or food in your pantry sealed, for example chips, cookies, rice, sugar, etc.
• Maintain a clean apartment.
• Do not leave trash outside your door or in the breezeways.

POOL PASSES REQUIRED

• 
  The pool pass must be present with the occupant of the apartment and their guests at all times.
• 
  If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older.
• 
  Only one pool pass per apartment.
• 
  In the event your pool pass is lost, you must pay $5 to obtain a new one.
• 
  Each occupant listed on the lease is allowed only 2 guests at a time.
  
  Waterford Landing Management Team will be checking for pool passes on a daily basis so remember to always bring you pool pass with you.

Community Noise And Trash

Attention Residents of Waterford Landing

We have had many complaints about loud noise, including music coming from cars in the parking lot. This is a lease violation and will not be tolerated. Please be mindful of your neighbors and turn your radios down when entering the community and parked in front of buildings. In addition, we would like to remind you to help us keep our community beautiful by not littering and leaving trash outside in the breezeways or parking lots including cigarette butts.

Summer Fun Book Fair!!!

Come out and join us for some summer fun at Waterford Landing’s first Book Fair!!! The Book Fair will be held on Sunday, May 31st from 1pm until 5pm and located at 1900 Waterford Landing, McDonough GA 30253. Depending upon the about of books that are sold, we will receive a percentage back that will be donated to Children’s Health Care. Pet Adoption Day

Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 2pm.

Waterford Landing Apartments is holding a pet adoption day on Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 2pm. We understand that rescue groups and non-profit organizations rely only on donations to help the animals in need. Therefore our team would like to ask you to come out and join us to help find homes for all these animals. Who knows, you may find your new best friend!

Move Night by the pool
Friday, May 8th starting at 8:30pm

There will be a movie night at the pool on Friday, May 8th starting at 8:30pm. In the spirit of the Pet Adoption on the following Saturday, we will be showing Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Please note this is a B.Y.O.B (bring your own beverage) event. Also you may bring floats to enjoy the movie while relaxing in the pool.
